How Xander's Spooderverse Started

Hi, it's Xander's mom! I wanted to share how this whole little adventure got started.

In May 2026, we found a jumping spider outside. Xander was instantly fascinated, and he gave it the perfect name: Spider Spider Man.

We didn't know much about jumping spiders at first, so we started learning together. How do they eat? How do they drink? What's going on when they molt? What does a safe enclosure look like? Every answer seemed to lead to another question, and honestly, we were both hooked.

Over time, our little spider family grew. Tiny and Spider Baby Doo joined us, and we also welcomed Bella, a captive-bred Regal Jumping Spider.

Watching Xander's curiosity grow has been the best part. He gets so excited about the smallest things, and it made us think other little explorers might enjoy learning alongside him.

So that's what Xander's Spooderverse is: a place to share what we're learning, our funny moments, and the adventures along the way. We're not experts. We're just a curious family learning one tiny spider at a time. Thanks for joining us!
